Let’s learn from history to focus effectively on the future.\u00a0 North County Watch started as Paso Watch in 2001, to oppose a development in much the same vein as the founding of NAC. In 2006 they became “North County Watch” to provide an active North County voice to counter sprawl in that rural area.\u00a0 We’ll also hear about several volunteer organizations in Nipomo that have been devoted to shaping Nipomo and preserving our beautiful environment for everyone’s use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dana Reserve Project will develop over 288 acres between Willow, Sandydale, Pomeroy, Hetrick, and Cherokee on the westside of Nipomo. The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) identified 19 Un-mitigatable and significant issues including:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
